1. Wilderdog Dog Harness
I've tried what feels like every harness on the market, and this one consistently comes out on top. It's lightweight, easy to put on, and refreshingly non-bulky. It has both a back and chest leash attachment, plus a sturdy handle for extra control when you need it. Most importantly, it fits well and doesn't pull or chafe Scout, making it comfortable for both short neighborhood walks and longer outings.

2. Wilderdog Cooling Bandanas
New Orleans summers are no joke, and anyone walking a dog here in July knows exactly what I mean. These bandanas are a simple lifesaver: soak one in water, tie it on, and your pup gets instant relief from the heat. They're practical, durable, and come in plenty of fun colors and patterns. 3. Tuff Pupper PupFlask
Hydration on walks is non-negotiable, and the PupFlask makes it effortless. It's a stainless steel water bottle with a silicone bowl dispenser that's easy to use, spill-free, and eco-friendly. The optional neoprene holder is a nice touch for hands-free carrying. This one lives in my bag year-round.

4. Furhaven Memory Foam Dog Bed
At 14, Scout has strong opinions about her nap situation. This bed delivers: memory foam that cushions pressure points, bolsters that support her neck, back, and hips, and a removable, washable cover for easy cleaning. It's held up beautifully, and replacement covers are available when needed. If you have a senior dog or a pup who just takes rest seriously, this one is worth every penny.

5. Outward Hound Hide A Squirrel Plush Toy Puzzle
Not for heavy chewers, consider yourself warned! But for dogs who love interactive play, this toy is endlessly entertaining. Scout loves pulling the squeaky squirrels out of the tree trunk, and I love hiding them around the house for her to find. We've replaced it more than once, which says everything.
